At a press conference on March 14, French Ambassador to Vietnam Nicolas Warnery said that there will be many activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations and the 10th anniversary of the Vietnam-France strategic partnership, including a visit by a French naval ship to Hai Phong port.
According to Ambassador Warnery, the Vietnam-France bilateral relationship has been continuously developing over the past half century with many high-level political visits. This demonstrates the desire of the two countries to maintain a deep and effective relationship. In this special year of 2023, the French Embassy will organize a series of events across Vietnam such as: Decentralized Cooperation Conference, "Balade en France" festival (Around France), "Photo Hanoi 23" photo exhibition, Exhibition celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of French scientist Louis Pasteur...
Closing the series of commemorative activities will be a light festival in the magnificent setting of Hue Citadel and a sound and light show in December.
