QNgTV- Heavy rain over the past two days has caused landslides on many roads in mountainous areas of Quang Ngai province.

At Lo Xo Pass, on the Ho Chi Minh Highway, from Quang Ngai to Da Nang, many landslides have appeared, causing traffic jams.
Since yesterday afternoon, October 26, the Quang Ngai Provincial Traffic Police have blocked and temporarily repaired the road. However, heavy rain last night and this morning, October 27, caused landslides in this area, cutting off traffic. Traffic police continue to block people from passing through to ensure safety.
On National Highway 24C, the section passing through Ta Ma Strait, Thanh Bong Commune, yesterday a landslide occurred, causing a complete traffic jam. Lieutenant Colonel Bui Tan Bao, Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department, Quang Ngai Provincial Police, said that last night, the Traffic Police set up checkpoints, blocked traffic, and did not allow people to pass. Last night, motorbikes were allowed to temporarily pass through the route, but heavy rain caused 4 more landslides, so the Traffic Police continued to block and prohibit traffic through this route.
Lieutenant Colonel Vu Thanh Giang, Head of the Traffic Police Department, Quang Ngai Provincial Police, said that this morning, at km 71 + 900, on National Highway 24, on Violac Pass, a landslide appeared.
