On May 10, the event "Cooperation Journey" - a key activity within the framework of the program "Vietnam-China Connection Bridge, Hai Phong 2025" was jointly organized by the Department of Foreign Affairs of Hai Phong, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Cultural Diplomacy (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and Shinec Joint Stock Company, to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations (January 18, 1950 - January 18, 2025), the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day and in response to the Vietnam-China Humanitarian Exchange Year 2025.

The event took place at Nam Cau Kien Eco-Industrial Park - one of Vietnam's typical eco-industrial parks, leading the country in applying ESG in sustainable development.
The special feature that made Nam Cau Kien chosen as the venue is the deep integration of cultural and heritage elements with works such as Kyo-sei-no-niwa Japanese Garden, General Vo Nguyen Giap Memorial Garden, or Dutch Tulip Park... creating an ideal setting for international exchange.
Attending the event were leaders of Hai Phong city departments and representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On the Chinese side, there were representatives of the Thanh Tu District government, Nanning city (China) along with many Chinese businesses, investors and local people.
The event "Cooperation Journey" had nearly 200 Chinese enterprises participating in the connection conference, along with thousands of people coming to attend, experience culture and enjoy cultural and artistic exchange programs between the two countries.

The program "Vietnam-China Connecting Bridge, Hai Phong 2025" is part of the strategy to enhance local diplomatic capacity - a key policy that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is actively implementing, to support localities, especially economic centers such as Hai Phong, to be more proactive in attracting investment, integrating into culture and promoting their image in the international arena.
Speaking at the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Dung, Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Hai Phong City, affirmed: "This is a program to introduce the traditional cultural beauty of Vietnam and China, demonstrating the spirit of exchange, enhancing understanding and connection between the people of the two sides."
Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Dung believes that the program will become a beautiful mark in the cooperation journey between Hai Phong and Chinese partners and localities; contributing to enriching people-to-people exchange activities between the two countries.
On May 10 and 11, the Nanning art troupe performed 14 acts including singing, dancing, and performances imbued with traditional Chinese culture; Hai Phong artists and students continued to bring 7 performances and quizzes, demonstrating the cultural exchange and friendship between the two countries.
In addition to the performances, the event also expanded the cultural experience space with folk games combined with an area displaying traditional handicrafts, contributing to creating highlights, highlighting indigenous cultural values, and promoting exchanges between artisans and people.
Hai Ly, representative of the booth of Hai Phong University of Management and Technology, said: “The event is not only an opportunity for young people, especially students, to better understand Chinese culture, but also acts as a bridge to help the young generation of Vietnam gain a deeper understanding of the 75-year diplomatic relationship between the two countries.”

Through the program, Hai Phong city cleverly introduces the local cultural, tourism and economic potential.
As an important industrial, seaport and logistics center, Hai Phong takes advantage of the event to build the image of a friendly, dynamic city that always welcomes international partners.
Contributing to the success of the program, Mr. Pham Hong Diep, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shinec Joint Stock Company, said that being co-organized in the program is a great honor and also a commitment of Shinec to accompany the city, central and local foreign affairs agencies, promoting cooperation with China not only in economic aspects, but also in cultural and human connection.
