Dak Lak Employment Service Center said that in the near future, the demand for jobs will increase because this is the time when high school, college, and university students graduate and enter the labor market.

Meanwhile, the demand for recruiting unskilled workers always remains at a fairly high level; the demand for recruiting at other levels will gradually increase but unevenly.

Specifically, the demand for recruiting workers with vocational/skilled, intermediate and college qualifications will increase faster than the demand for recruiting workers with university qualifications, most of whom are related to textile, sales, business, construction, mechanics, electronics, telecommunications, accounting, credit, valuation, janitors, housekeepers, animal husbandry, industrial workers/production workers, simple workers (outside industry), etc.

Workers with university degrees will face more difficulties in finding jobs due to the large gap between the quality of human resources and business requirements.

It is known that in May 2023, Dak Lak Employment Service Center introduced 501 workers for interviews at units and enterprises. Of which, unskilled workers were introduced the most (40.3%); intermediate-level workers were introduced the least (7.6%); university, college, vocational/skilled workers were introduced at 27.1%, 13.4% and 11.6%, respectively.

According to Mr. Le Hai Ly, Director of Dak Lak Employment Service Center, in May 2023, the gap between labor supply and demand narrowed to an average level, which helped reduce the pressure on the work of connecting labor supply and demand, but the unit still actively organized job fairs with diverse forms, contents, and subjects, closely following the local authorities; at the same time, proactively used online tools to provide information on jobs, the labor market, and other necessary information; especially deploying the application of QR code technology in collecting job search needs of workers; promoting counseling and vocational training support for workers receiving unemployment benefits, etc.
