I have been to many different lands in the long journey of life. Every time I set foot somewhere, naturally, I always try to find excuses to meet the image of my homeland. The shady road. The old areca tree on the red afternoons. The sound of the kite flute echoing to the distant sky, expressing its confession. The vast fields filled with the scents of the season... Until, in a moment of chance, I heard the songs, or more precisely, the songs about my homeland echoing in another land, which made me realize many things. The spiritual value hidden deep in those sounds spoke to me many thoughts and then called me back to the far away place.

The land of love has given birth to you, with your heart you have painted so many colors of life. Don't blame the vastness of life, isn't that the world for each person to understand more about everything? Any path can lead to beautiful things. Any path can bring each person back. Somewhere there are always sincere ideas, sparkles of hope and fillings of emptiness. Meeting the song about the affectionate homeland is meeting the spiritual face of the homeland.
That land has confirmed itself with the sun and wind for generations. Therefore, the more hardships there are, the more the people there understand the “salty salt, spicy ginger”, living with inner strength and affection. The lyrics make me miss the rocky road, the barren fields, a river where people cast their nets in the afternoon. All the hardships of those lives have entered the lyrics. The dimension of the homeland space has expanded in my thoughts since then, it is not a simple creation but an endless longing, making me yearn. A yearning to face and touch all the symbols of my memories.
The sound of the soul always carries images, speaking for the nostalgia of many people. I realized the deep things about memories, origins and loved ones in my memories. That song has confirmed the most enduring things about the value of the homeland in the consciousness of a person far from home. And then, that very path makes everything flow slower, the distance becomes close and vivid.
I have carried those songs of my homeland far away for many years. The more I travel, the more I understand the feelings that the creators have put into them. The love of homeland is not only to connect people with the values of their roots but can also make each person become more profound with everything around them no matter where they go in this life.
The distances are blurred just to let the private and general heart express itself. I realize the appreciation of the people here for their homeland through the way they listen to a heartfelt song about their homeland. Surely, they also receive many special things when feeling those simple lyrics. Singing always has a special power in finding connections in life. I understand others better in new lands since then. That is also the deep reason why I always easily find common ground in each journey of life.
Just sit down when you are really quiet, then hum a song of your homeland. Maybe those sounds are not really moving, but more or less it is a special confession of yourself to your homeland. I have lived in those moments many times. The stillness but deep resonance makes me emotional. Any song lyrics, if truly understood, can imagine a story attached to it.
Stories of couples on the riverbanks of my hometown, hard-working lives, promises, and missed opportunities. I recognized my image, that of the person I loved my hometown. Those lyrics have touched people’s hearts and have a far-reaching sympathy. Every land I have been to and attached to has always tolerated me, allowing me to listen to and sing songs about my distant hometown…
I had short but thought-provoking conversations with others about the songs of my homeland. I received sincere responses, originating from open-minded and profound souls. All of them planted in me many good thoughts about the spiritual values of life, of the songs that have, are and will always accompany me and everyone. Those voices are soft to touch the feelings. People listen to songs from far away places to love more the close ones before them. I listen to songs of my homeland in far away places to return to the old place. And then, I silently thank the longing from the songs...
