The musical “No Family”, directed by Meritorious Artist Le Anh Tuyet and adapted by screenwriter Bui Hong Que. With a duration of just over an hour, the creative team has skillfully distilled the best from the original work, vividly and emotionally recreating an artistic picture imbued with humanity.

The audience will embark on the journey of Remi - an orphan boy who was sold by his adoptive father to a traveling circus led by Vitalis - a kind-hearted wandering artist. During his travels everywhere, from a homeless, nameless child, Remi experienced many hardships, poverty, and loss to gradually grow up, learn to make a living on his own two feet, and finally find his true relatives. Despite being caught up in a journey of hunger, cold, lost and separation, Remi still sings to live and hope, to love and above all, to find his roots.
The work takes viewers through the cold but still warm European winter scene, blending into the jubilant atmosphere of Vitalis' circus with his lovely four-legged friends like Capi the dog or Joli-Ceur the monkey.
With the scenery depicted by artist Dang Minh Tuan, the stage is dressed in the poetic beauty of a 19th century French countryside – both romantic and simple, and imbued with a profound humanitarian spirit.
Meritorious Artist Le Anh Tuyet, the musical's director, shared that for many years, she has cherished the passion of staging "No Family", hoping to bring the work that has inspired many generations of young readers to the musical stage.
