Impressive images at the opening rehearsal of the defense exhibition

On the morning of December 17, the Ministry of National Defense held a rehearsal for the opening ceremony of the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024.

Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien, Deputy Minister of National Defense, attended and directed.

The rehearsal was attended by all air force, special forces, border guards, etc. In particular, the outdoor display area featured weapons and military equipment from Vietnam and international units.

The rehearsal included a joint welcome flight performance by 14 air force aircraft (7 Su30-MK2 fighters, 7 helicopters), more than 2,200 officers and soldiers performing martial arts, 80 military dogs and 80 trainers from the Border Guard.

In particular, the welcome flight of Su30-MK2 fighter jets appeared and dropped interference shells.

Speaking at the rehearsal, on behalf of the Central Military Commission of the Ministry of National Defense and the Exhibition Steering Committee, Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien warmly commended all officers, soldiers, artists, actors, agencies and units that participated in the rehearsal.

Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien emphasized that today's rehearsal was a great success.

"Our opening ceremony rehearsal today was very successful. In the sky, the planes and drones flew beautifully. We have no problems with the jamming performance.

On the ground, all forces from officers, special forces soldiers, military dog trainers, artists and actors participating in today's performance performed very well. I think we can be completely proud of their professionalism and hard work in training," said Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien.

However, to make it better, more beautiful and more magnificent, Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien also suggested that the organizing committee coordinate with the forces of the Ministry of Public Security to arrange them alternately with the army forces from outside to inside the stands.

The General also noted the need to carefully ensure all work from reception to program organization.

Mr. Chien also suggested that the Department of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of National Defense coordinate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' translation center to equip enough translation machines for 66 delegation heads.

"Equip enough translation machines for 66 heads of delegations from participating countries, not just 7 defense ministers. If you request, we must ensure 6 languages according to regulations," Mr. Chien added.

Regarding the outdoor display of weapons and equipment, Mr. Xuan Chien said it was basically okay but still needed to be more prominent, especially in front of the two stands.

"We hope that at this opening ceremony, all Party and State leaders and international guests will see the most beautiful, magnificent and strongest aspects of the Vietnam People's Army," he emphasized.
