Fully aware of the significance of the trip, Student Bui Bao Tram, born in 2007, said, “For me, being able to join this delegation is a great honor and pride that not everyone has.” Bao Tram said that to serve the trip, although the time was very short, only 1 week for 10 main performances, the teachers and students in the delegation practiced day and night with the hope of bringing the officers and soldiers on Truong Sa archipelago the highest quality and most emotional performances.
“Basically, when the members first came to Truong Sa, many of them were seasick and exhausted, lying flat on the boat. However, when they arrived at the islands, all the fatigue seemed to disappear, they quickly regained their cheerful spirit, and devoted themselves to the performances,” Bao Tram confided.

As for Bui Thien An, born in 2009, the youngest member of the Dance Academy's delegation, she has her own feelings. Thien An was born into a family where no one is in the arts, but her passion for dance has been with her since she was 4 years old. After many years of studying at the Dance Academy, Thien An has participated in many major performances, but for this trip, Thien An said, "When I learned that I had the honor of performing in Truong Sa, everyone in my family was happy and encouraged me to do my best, because this is a special political mission."
Overcoming the difficulties of harsh weather, makeshift stage setting, intermittent sound system... due to the lack of conditions on the island, Thien An and the members of the Academy had passionate performances, extremely emotional exchanges, enthusiastically responded by many officers and soldiers.

Teacher Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Head of the Dance Department, Deputy Head of the working delegation, talks with reporters of Vietnam Law Newspaper |
Teacher Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Head of the Dance Department, Deputy Head of the Working Group shared, “When I received the task assigned by the Board of Directors to be the general director and choreographer for the entire program, I was really worried. Because this is a program with a very special and profound meaning, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Truong Sa, the 50th anniversary of the reunification of the country, the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam People's Navy... Therefore, the performances must be very careful in choosing the theme and the way of performing to exude a joyful atmosphere, praising the sea and islands, the homeland and the country. Fortunately, the students all understood, were excited, enthusiastic and tried their best in each performance.” Hung said that this was the third year the Dance Academy participated in the Working Group to Truong Sa. But this time, unlike previous times, the school decided to send both students and pupils to participate. These are students with good academic results and are excellent union members.
“The positive reception of the officers and soldiers for the performances in the places we visited was a great source of encouragement for the whole group,” Hung confided.
