Announcing a series of summer tourism events in Binh Dinh

(PLVN) - The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Dinh has just announced information about a number of activities in the Summer Tourism Event Series taking place in this locality in May-July 2025.

The program is organized to respond to the National Tourism Year 2025 and promote the Binh Dinh tourism brand; promote the introduction and promotion of cultural, historical values, tourism resources and products, and Binh Dinh tourism brand to domestic and international friends, thereby stimulating tourism demand, attracting tourists, contributing to the development of Binh Dinh tourism.

Specifically, at 1:30 p.m. on May 30, in Quy Nhon City, a conference on tourism development linkages among several provinces and cities in the Central Coast - Central Highlands region will be held with the aim of updating new trends in travel, technology and tourist behavior; promoting tourism development linkages, building unique inter-regional products, calling for investment in infrastructure and tourism services as well as contributing to promoting the tourism potential of Binh Dinh and the region to the international market.

Next, on May 30 and 31, the 2025 Coastal Culture and Sports Festival was held in Vinh Quang 2 village, Phuoc Son commune, Tuy Phuoc district, with cultural and sports activities such as: Beauty contest, "Beauty of the Coast", "Men's boat racing", "Free swimming" (men, women) and combined men's and women's tug of war.

From June 9 to July 2, many major competitions will also take place in Binh Dinh province, such as: Miss and Mister World Supermodel; Binh Dinh Martial Arts Night 2025; VnExpress Marathon Quy Nhon 2025; Binh Dinh Provincial Cross Country Race 2025; International Amateur Golf Tournament; 4th National Cycling Festival - Binh Dinh 2025 and Binh Dinh Provincial Youth Football Tournament 2025.

In particular, the opening ceremony of the 2025 summer tourism festival will be held on June 13, 2025, at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square (Quy Nhon City) with the participation of about 500 delegates, including leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, and tourism businesses inside and outside the province.

In 2025, Binh Dinh tourism industry strives to welcome 10 million visitors, achieving revenue of 25,000 billion VND. This is also the last year to implement the 5-year socio-economic development plan for the period 2021 - 2025 according to the Resolution of the 20th Binh Dinh Provincial Party Congress. Therefore, the leaders of Binh Dinh province expect that the provincial tourism industry will seize the opportunity to accelerate, making Binh Dinh tourism a spearhead economic sector as proposed by the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress.
