Not working in editorial offices, not possessing professional journalist cards, but with passion and constant efforts, the team of press collaborators in Quang Ninh has become an "extended arm" to enrich the content, form, and quality of works for press agencies; increasingly playing an important role in spreading official information, building the image of a dynamic and innovative locality.

Writing with the love of a miner, that is Ms. Hoang Hien, an officer in charge of emulation work at Nui Beo Coal Joint Stock Company, one of the veteran press collaborators of the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group (TKV) and Quang Ninh province. For more than 20 years of writing, Ms. Hoang Hien has never considered herself a professional journalist, but considers writing an indispensable part of life.

From the first days of her career, with her father - a person working in emulation and propaganda in the coal industry and a press collaborator correcting every word, Ms. Hoang Hien gradually became attached to the writing profession. The news and photos published in the newspaper brought a feeling of joy, creating a great motivation for Ms. Hoang Hien to stick with the writing profession until today.

Ms. Hoang Hien shared that working in the mining industry, there is never a shortage of writing topics. The examples of miners, changes in policies, resolutions, and production and business practices are always sources of inspiration for her to exploit. Not only is she passionate, Ms. Hoang Hien is also given the opportunity by her unit to participate in journalism training courses of the Provincial Journalists Association and TKV, thanks to which her journalism skills are increasingly solid.

In 3 years (2022-2024), Ms. Hoang Hien has won many important journalism awards: Finalist of the 2022 Provincial Golden Hammer and Sickle Award, third prize of the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award of the Central Enterprise Party Committee, second prize and third prize in the following seasons... Her journalistic works not only truthfully reflect the lives of workers, but also contribute to promoting the business brand, building the image of dedicated coal workers.

Writing to bring healthcare closer to the community is the motto of Ms. Ha Trang, who is currently working in propaganda at the Provincial General Hospital. Although she was formally trained in journalism at the Academy of Journalism and Propaganda, Ms. Ha Trang turned to the medical field and that is why Ms. Ha Trang became an "amateur reporter" in a very special environment.

As the administrator of the fanpage and website of the Provincial General Hospital, Ms. Ha Trang 's job requires her to convey dry medical information into stories that are familiar and easy to understand for the community. Thanks to her solid professional background, Ms. Ha Trang approaches this job with flexibility and sensitivity. Each of her posts is not simply information, but also a connection between the hospital and the people.

Ms. Ha Trang once followed the medical team all night to record a touching organ donation (when the husband of a female medical worker decided to donate his organs to save a person) and the article about that organ donation not only spread information, but also aroused compassion in society. There are patients from far away in the Central region, thanks to reading Ms. Ha Trang 's article, they came to Quang Ninh for treatment. "To be able to contribute a small part to help patients, that is happiness for me" - Ms. Ha Trang shared.

Writing to portray soldiers, perhaps many people know the name Van Dam, an officer of the Provincial Military Command, an “amateur” but a professional journalist. In the press and media of the armed forces, Van Dam is a familiar name with a series of print, television, and defense-themed works that are broadcast periodically.

Taking on filming, photography, writing, and video editing all by himself, Van Dam seems to be able to do all the steps to produce a complete journalistic work. The program “National Defense for All” broadcast on Quang Ninh Television for 15 minutes each month alone is the result of Van Dam’s great personal efforts. On average, each month, Van Dam’s unit must ensure 35 news, articles, and reports are sent back as planned. This volume even exceeds that of professional reporters.

Not only the quantity, the quality of Van Dam's works is also confirmed through a series of press awards. From 2015 to now, he has won nearly 10 awards from the Military Television Festival, provincial and central press awards. With his enthusiasm and military discipline, Van Dam has contributed to bringing the image of soldiers closer to the public, spreading positive values ​​about the armed forces.

They are not “amateurs” but very “dedicated”, that is the opinion of many people in the press when talking about press collaborators such as Ms. Hoang Hien, Ms. Ha Trang, Mr. Van Dam... 3 stories, 3 people, 3 different journeys, but they have one thing in common: passion and silent dedication to journalism. They can be business officials, people working in the medical industry, soldiers... but they all have the same aspiration to contribute their voice to the community, bringing official information to the people through their own experiences, observations, and feelings.
