Heartfelt meals provided by Brigade 575 (Military Region 5)

Given the complex situation caused by heavy rains and floods, with many areas cut off and isolated, making the supply of food difficult, on October 30th, a delegation from Brigade 575 (Military Region) mobilized to Hoa Tien commune (Da Nang City) - a locality severely damaged by the recent storms - to deliver meals as a gesture of solidarity to the local people.

The delegation was led by Lieutenant Colonel Tran Van Duc, Political Commissar of Brigade 575, and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quang Hung, Deputy Political Commissar of the Brigade. Representing the local authorities were Mr. Nguyen Huu Loi, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hoa Tien Commune, and Mr. Nguyen Tan Khoa, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Tien Commune.

Officers and soldiers of Brigade 575 prepared 200 meals to donate to people in flood-affected areas.

The meals were transported to the flooded area of ​​Hoa Tien by Brigade 575.

To provide over 200 meals and other necessities to support the local people, the officers and soldiers of Brigade 575 allocated funds from the unit's self-sufficiency program.

Officers and soldiers of Brigade 575 used various methods to reach out and deliver meals of compassion to people in flood-affected areas.

Amidst the cold rain, officers and soldiers of Brigade 575 personally handed out meals to people in the flood-affected areas.

Mr. Tran Xuan Nhan (Cam Ne village, Hoa Tien commune) said: "During the days when we were isolated by the floodwaters, receiving a heartwarming meal from the soldiers truly moved us and strengthened our belief that our people will never be left behind."
