Cases exempted from all 2025 high school graduation exams

The 2025 high school graduation exam is the first exam to implement the 2018 General Education Program, and is also the first exam to apply the new exam regulations issued by the Ministry of Education and Training . Candidates should pay attention to the new points, especially the regulations related to benefits, to compare and ensure compliance with the regulations.

According to the provisions of Circular No. 24/2024/TT-BGDĐT of the Ministryof Education and Training promulgating the regulations on high school graduation exams, there are 3 cases that are exempted from all high school graduation exams: Candidates summoned to participate in the national team selection exam to compete in international or regional Olympic competitions in cultural subjects; Candidates in the team participating in international or regional Olympic competitions in science, technology, culture and arts; Candidates who are people with extremely severe disabilities and people with severe disabilities according to the provisions of Decree No. 28/2012/ND-CP of the Government (people who participated in the resistance war and were infected with toxic chemicals and had a reduced working capacity of 61% or more, children of people who participated in the resistance war and were infected with toxic chemicals and had a reduced working capacity of 61% or more).

The high school graduation exam takes place on June 26-27.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training, there are 1,165,289 candidates nationwide registered to take the exam. Candidates should note that this year's exam has 2 types of exam questions and 2 exam schedules for candidates studying the 2018 General Education Program and candidates studying the 2006 General Education Program.
