The Department of Construction of Ninh Thuan province has just sent a notice to companies and water supply units nationwide; Trung Nam Group; Ha Do Group; Hoang Thanh Du Long Industrial Park Investment Joint Stock Company; Royal Ninh Thuan Investment and Development Company Limited inviting interest in participating in the auction of assets of Ca Na - Phuoc Nam Water Supply Plant and Son Hai water supply system.
The Department of Construction of Ninh Thuan province said that the department is coordinating with Van Thien Phuoc Joint Stock Auction Company to auction the clean water supply infrastructure assets of Ca Na - Phuoc Nam Water Supply Plant and Son Hai water supply system (auction announcement has been made).
Accordingly, the Ca Na - Phuoc Nam water supply system includes the collection system and raw water pumping station of Phuoc Vinh commune, Ninh Phuoc district (south of Nha Trinh Dam system) with an area of 5,000 m2, capacity of 20,000 m3/day and night; put into use in 2009 (phase 1) and 2012 (phase 2).
The treatment system in Phuoc Dan town, Ninh Phuoc district (near the existing Phuoc Dan water supply plant) has an area of 25,840 m2, capacity of 20,000 m3/day and night, and was put into use in 2009.
Along with that, the raw water pipeline along the Nam canal bank and the Phu Quy - Phuoc Hau - Phuoc Thai - Lien Son route with a capacity of 10,000 m3/day and night was put into use in 2009; the clean water pipeline is arranged along National Highway 1A to Phuoc Diem commune, Thuan Nam district with a capacity of 10,000 m3/day and night was put into use in 2012.
Meanwhile, the Son Hai water supply system includes a clean water pipeline from the clean water supply pipeline of the Phuoc Nam Water Plant (in Chung My village) to the booster pump station with a length of 6,931 m (using HDPE plastic pipes with an outer diameter of D355 mm), put into use in 2017; the booster pump station was put into use in 2017...
Son Hai water supply system currently connects water supply system to 2,317 households.
According to Decision No. 673, dated November 14, 2024 of the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province, the assets of Ca Na - Phuoc Nam Water Supply Plant and Son Hai water supply system have a starting price of VND 336,885 billion.
According to the Department of Construction of Ninh Thuan province, companies and enterprises in need can contact to view the property and register for property auction at the Office of Van Thien Phuoc Joint Stock Auction Company (address: Lot TM 11-10, Huy Can, Area K1, My Binh Ward, Phan Rang - Thap Cham City, Ninh Thuan Province).
Registration period for auction participation is from April 21, 2025 to 5:00 p.m. on May 12, 2025; auction will be held at 2:30 p.m. on May 15, 2025.
It is known that on March 14, 2025, Ninh Thuan Water Supply Joint Stock Company (Niwaco, UPCoM: NNT) informed that the company has prepared documents to participate in the auction of assets of Ca Na - Phuoc Nam Water Supply Plant and Son Hai water supply system on January 20, 2025 (first time) and February 20, 2025 (second time).
“However, both auctions were unsuccessful because only one unit, Ninh Thuan Water Supply Joint Stock Company, participated in the auction, which was not in accordance with the auction regulations of the unit organizing the auction. Up to now, the Company is waiting for the direction of the Provincial People's Committee to carry out the next steps and the Company will report specifically at the nearest General Meeting of Shareholders,” Niwaco mentioned.
According to Resolution No. 82/NQ-ĐHĐCĐ dated December 27, 2024 of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders in 2024, Niwaco believes that participating in the auction of Ca Na - Phuoc Nam Water Supply Plant and Son Hai water supply system is very necessary; plays a particularly important role in the water supply activities of the entire Company, contributing to reducing the load on Thap Cham water plant; contributing to saving costs and time for the company when not having to invest in a replacement D400 pipeline...
Niwaco said that the service scope of Ca Na - Phuoc Nam Water Supply Plant and Son Hai water supply system includes Phuoc Nam, Hieu Thien, Ca Na Industrial Parks; Ca Na General Port; Ca Na Electricity Center. Coastal tourist areas from Ca Na to Mui Dinh, Phuoc Dinh Commune, Van Lam 3 Village. The forecasted water demand by 2025 of this area is about 29,000 m3/day and night (clean water) and 63,386 m3/day and night (raw water).
According to the resolution, Niwaco will spend 400 billion VND, including the auction value, maintenance, and repair costs for the entire factory and system of Ca Na - Phuoc Nam Water Supply Plant and Son Hai Water Supply System. Of which, the company's equity is 120 billion VND, the rest is bank loans.
