Accordingly, the Project focuses on preserving the core cultural values of the Kate Festival, while meeting the profound religious needs of the Cham community.

The dual goal that Ninh Thuan province is aiming for is to build a unique cultural tourism product, attracting visitors from all over the world, thereby raising awareness of responsibility for heritage conservation in the community.

The project was developed to concretize the policies of the Party and the State, in line with the province's comprehensive development strategy. Accordingly, a series of key tasks need to be implemented consistently, focusing on improving festival management capacity, ensuring a professional and effective organization process.

Along with that, the project focuses on enriching cultural, artistic and sports activities, creating a vibrant festival atmosphere, attracting everyone to participate.

In particular, prioritizing investment in infrastructure connecting historical sites such as Po Klong Garai, Po Rome, Po Inư Nưgar - sacred spaces that preserve the "soul" of the Kate Festival - will create maximum convenience for both locals and tourists to visit and experience.

At the same time, the promotion of the festival on various media channels is also promoted, contributing to spreading the unique cultural beauty of the Kate Festival to a wide audience at home and abroad.

The budget of more than VND10 billion will be allocated strategically, with VND2.01 billion prioritized for implementation in 2025. The remaining budget, VND8.3 billion, will be invested in the 2026-2030 period, focusing on supporting key festival activities.

In addition, Ninh Thuan province also shows strong investment in infrastructure with plans to pour from 50 to 70 billion VND into key projects.

These projects include expanding and upgrading the transportation system connecting to the ceremonial areas, as well as restoring and embellishing ancient temple and tower relics – inseparable "historical witnesses" of the Kate Festival.

Kate Festival, a unique cultural symbol and pride of the Cham people in Ninh Thuan, takes place annually at the transitional time between June and July of the Cham calendar (corresponding to September and October of the solar calendar).

The festival space spreads across majestic temples, traditional Cham villages (palei) and the warmth of each family.

The Cham community following Brahmanism is the sacred subject of the festival, and the Provincial Council of Cham Brahman Dignitaries plays a central role in practicing religious rituals and traditional beliefs, contributing to creating a unique identity and strong vitality for the Kate Festival.
