Korean female singer investigated by police for offensive performance

Most opinions say that the singer's sexy performance at Sungkyunkwan University (South Korea) in May was inappropriate. The Korean police confirmed that they were looking into the case and had summoned Hwasa for investigation. Last July, a representative from the singer's management company said that they wanted to take time to verify the incident.

Recently, Hwasa continued to share about the noisy incident: "I have been controversial for a long time because of my performance style. The day I went to the US to join the tour with the group MAMAMOO, I received a lot of messages.

My performance style can be controversial, which is understandable, but the hateful comments towards me are too much to bear. Normally, I wouldn't let malicious comments affect me mentally, but this time, everything has exceeded my tolerance."

The 9X generation singer added that she was deeply hurt and everything affected her performance in New York (USA). "I tried to encourage myself not to care about everything and focus on performing. But really, everything was too heavy. I burst into tears when the show in the US ended," she said.

She also explained that, to encourage herself, she chose the song I love my body to perform in the US after the scandal of her sexy performance. "The title of the song made me feel happier. I tried to ignore the negative comments," she added.

Hwasa (born 1995) real name is Ahn Hyejin. The beautiful singer debuted to Asian fans as a member of the group MAMAMOO in 2014.
