Nui Phao equips nearly 350 students with drowning prevention skills

Nearly 350 students of Ha Thuong Secondary School participated in a program equipped with skills to prevent drowning.

At the program, students were informed about common causes of drowning, and how to avoid them when swimming in rivers, lakes, or encountering heavy rains or floods.

In the first aid practice section with visual models and dedicated instructions from medical staff of Nui Phao Company, students learned how to check the victim's reaction, call for support properly, practice chest compressions, and artificial respiration - simple skills that can save lives if applied at the right time.

The program also incorporates hypothetical situations for students to discuss and play the roles of victims and supporters, helping them know how to call for help when in trouble and understand the importance of staying calm and handling situations properly.

The propaganda and guidance sessions help students acquire knowledge and raise awareness of protecting themselves and supporting others. By taking a dedicated and close approach, Nui Phao Company is gradually contributing to building a safe and loving community.
