Hai Phong Agricultural Extension Center has approved a model of raising colored chickens (commercial) in the garden in an organic direction, linking product consumption in Le Ich Moc ward, earning a profit of 434 million VND/batch.

The center supports households participating in the model with 50% of breeds, complete mixed feed, vaccines, biological products, organic acids, herbs, disinfectants, and introduces some high-yield, high-quality chicken breeds suitable for the farming process. Agricultural extension officers support farmers with techniques, applying VietGAP standards, not overusing antibiotics; controlling diseases well... Products after harvest are guaranteed for output.

During the breeding process, farmers use biological products, organic acids, and herbs in food, drinking water, spray disinfectants on barns, and treat livestock waste; limit the use of antibiotics, create safe, high-quality livestock products, and reduce odors and toxic gases in barns. The quality of chicken meat is more fragrant, delicious, and firmer than other breeding methods...

Monitoring results show that the chickens grow and develop well, have high resistance, especially when the weather changes abnormally. Although the chickens are raised in open cages and free-range, the chickens are less affected. The survival rate is 96%, 3% higher than outside the model.
