Mr. Do Trong Hung was elected as Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee.

Previously, on the evening of October 27, the new Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Executive Committee held its first meeting, electing 17 people to the Provincial Party Standing Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Mr. Do Trong Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2015 - 2020 term, was elected as Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term.

Mr. Do Minh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2015 - 2020 term; Mr. Lai The Nguyen, Head of the Organization Board of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2015 - 2020 term; Mr. Trinh Tuan Sinh, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Party Agencies and Enterprises of Thanh Hoa Province, were elected as Deputy Secretaries of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term.

The Thanh Hoa Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term also elected 13 people to the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee. Mr. Le Quang Hung, Deputy Head of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee for the 2015-2020 term, was elected as Head of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Mr. Do Trong Hung was born in 1971, hometown in Quang Trung commune, Quang Xuong district, Thanh Hoa province, has a doctorate in philosophy, senior political theory. Mr. Hung is a member of the 14th National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Thanh Hoa province.

Starting from the position of a specialist in the Propaganda Department of the Quang Xuong District Party Committee (Thanh Hoa) and then Deputy Chief of the Office of the Quang Xuong District Party Committee, Mr. Hung was transferred to the Office of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee to take on the positions of Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Deputy Chief of the Office, Chief of the Office of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee.

The Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress took place over three days, from October 26 to 28.

From May 2009 to August 2010, Mr. Hung was assigned to be Secretary of Nong Cong District Party Committee (Thanh Hoa). From November 2010 to 2015, Mr. Hung was Head of the Propaganda Department of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee.

From July 2016 to present, Mr. Hung has been the Standing Deputy Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, and concurrently the Head of the 14th National Assembly Delegation of Thanh Hoa province.

The Politburo assigned Mr. Trinh Van Chien to monitor, direct and guide the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee.

Previously, on the morning of October 27, in her speech directing the 19th Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Politburo member, Chairwoman of the National Assembly, said that the Politburo had just assigned Mr. Trinh Van Chien, Party Central Committee member, Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term, to continue to monitor, direct and guide the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee until the end of the 13th Party Congress.
