On the afternoon of January 3, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai presented the decision of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Le Kim Hieu, Deputy Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, holding the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee of District 6.
Mr. Le Kim Hieu (48 years old) has a master's degree in Political Economy and a bachelor's degree in Politics, majoring in Inspection and Supervision. Mr. Hieu is a cadre who grew up from the grassroots level and held the positions of Head of the General Staff Department and Chief of Office of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee. In June 2020, Mr. Hieu was appointed Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee.

Mr. Le Kim Hieu was appointed as Deputy Secretary of District 6 Party Committee to replace Mr. Ngo Thanh Luong who retired at the end of November 2023. Currently, the Standing Committee of District 6 Party Committee includes District Party Secretary Ma Xuan Viet and 2 Deputy Secretaries: Ms. Le Thi Thanh Thao (Chairwoman of the People's Committee) and Mr. Le Kim Hieu (Standing Committee).
Speaking at the assignment, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai hoped that Mr. Hieu would unite with the new unit, the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of District 6 Party Committee to support the new personnel to complete the assigned tasks.
The new Standing Deputy Secretary of District 6 Party Committee, Le Kim Hieu, pledged to strictly comply with the working regulations set forth by the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of District 6 Party Committee; at the same time, uphold the tradition of solidarity with the collective to successfully complete the targets set forth by the District Party Committee.
