Mr. Le Van Cuong (2nd from right) was elected Chairman of Huong Thuy Town People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Accordingly, the meeting approved the Proposal on introducing personnel to elect the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Huong Thuy Town for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Le Van Cuong, Deputy Secretary of the Huong Thuy Town Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
With the voting result of 27/27, reaching 100% (total number of delegates present), Mr. Le Van Cuong was elected as Chairman of Huong Thuy Town People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Previously, Mr. Le Van Cuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, was mobilized and appointed by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to join the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee, holding the position of Deputy Secretary of the Huong Thuy Town Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term from April 10, 2024, and introduced to be elected to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Huong Thuy Town for the 2021-2026 term.
Congratulating Mr. Le Van Cuong on being elected by the People's Council of Huong Thuy Town to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of the town, Secretary of the Town Party Committee Le Ngoc Son hopes that the new Chairman of the People's Committee of Huong Thuy Town will promote his capacity and strengths, together with the Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Town People's Committee, unite and unify in the direction and management work, contributing with the Party Committee, government and people of the town to successfully implement the goals and tasks set forth in the 16th Town Party Committee Resolution and the resolutions of the Town People's Council.
Speaking at the ceremony, the new Chairman of Huong Thuy Town People's Committee, Le Van Cuong, thanked the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the town People's Council delegates for their trust and confidence, and affirmed that this was an honor but also a heavy responsibility before the Party Committee, government and people of the town.
“In my new position, I will make efforts, strive, and quickly approach the work, together with the leadership of the Town People's Committee, inherit and promote the achieved results, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 16th Town Party Congress,” Mr. Le Van Cuong emphasized.
Also at the meeting, the People's Council of Huong Thuy Town passed a Resolution on the results of monitoring "The situation of leasing land for service development in the town".
