On the morning of November 17, in Ca Mau, the Central Organizing Committee held a ceremony to announce the Decision of the Central Party Secretariat appointing Mr. Lu Quang Ngoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Long province to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee and introduced the Provincial People's Council to elect him as Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province for the 2021-2026 term.

Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Nguyen Thanh Tam presented the decision on transfer and appointment to Mr. Lu Quang Ngoi.

At the Conference, the representative of the Central Organizing Committee announced the decisions of the Secretariat on allowing Mr. Lu Quang Ngoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Long province to cease participating in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and cease holding the position of Deputy Secretary of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term; to transfer and appoint him to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term; and at the same time, to introduce him to be elected as Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province for the 2021 - 2026 term.

Deputy Secretary of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Lu Quang Ngoi delivered a speech accepting the assignment.

In his acceptance speech, the new Deputy Secretary of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, Lu Quang Ngoi, expressed that this is both a personal honor and a responsibility to the Party Committee and people of Ca Mau province.

In his new position, the new Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee affirmed his absolute loyalty to the Party, maintaining the qualities and ethics of officials; upholding the responsibility of setting an example as a leader; strictly implementing the Party's discipline and order; always putting the common interests of the province and the people first; working with the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to unite and unify in bringing the Party's resolutions into life; resolutely implementing key tasks on socio- economic development, Party building, national defense and security, administrative reform, digital transformation and social security.

Focus on building a streamlined, effective and efficient political system; promote democracy, arouse aspirations to rise up; take care of training cadres at all levels, especially at the grassroots level. Mr. Lu Quang Ngoi, born on April 4, 1972, hometown Dong Hoa Hiep commune, Cai Be district, Tien Giang province (old); professional qualification is PhD, senior political theory.

Immediately after the decision announcement ceremony, this morning, the People's Council of Ca Mau province, term X, 2021 - 2026, held the 5th session (special session) to elect the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, term 2021 - 2026.

Leaders of Ca Mau province presented flowers to congratulate Mr. Lu Quang Ngoi and Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai.

At the meeting, delegates of the People's Council of Ca Mau province elected Mr. Lu Quang Ngoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term; at the same time, dismissed Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai from holding the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province for the 2021-2026 term because he was transferred and assigned by the Secretariat to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
