OpenAI officially launches the GPT Store, a store for personalized artificial intelligence (AI) applications.

OpenAI says the GPT Store will be a place where users can discover and build custom GPTs or AIs for specific tasks like teaching math or designing stickers.

GPT Store will be rolled out by OpenAI to users who are on the paid ChatGPT service plan.

The GPT Store will initially be available to users on the paid ChatGPT service plan. Over the next few months, OpenAI plans to add new features that will allow users to monetize their AI personalization.

This move by OpenAI is aimed at attracting and continuing the acceptance of consumers for generative AI chatbots. After its launch, ChatGPT quickly became one of the fastest growing applications ever. According to The Verge , GPT Store has the potential to help the company expand its ecosystem in the future.

The GPT Store was first announced at the company's developer conference in November 2023. However, the launch was delayed by more than a month. The company said in an internal memo that it needed time to improve GPT based on customer feedback.

In addition to the GPT Store, OpenAI is also launching ChatGPT Team, a paid enterprise version that allows employees to use ChatGPT at work. The app is separate from corporate data, so any information entered into the chatbot remains confidential. ChatGPT Team costs between $25 and $30 per person per month.
