Petrolimex Aviation signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Academy of Strategy and Training of officials of the Ministry of Construction at Green Transport Week 2025

On October 29, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, Petrolimex Aviation Fuel Joint Stock Company (Petrolimex Aviation - PA) was honored to attend the Vietnam Green Building and Green Transport Week 2025 with the theme "Innovation, promoting the development of Green Building and Green Transport towards sustainability", an event co-organized by the Ministry of Construction and the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee. The event was attended by leaders of the Ministry of Construction, leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, ministries, branches, international organizations and domestic and foreign enterprises, attracting nearly 1,500 delegates, including more than 50 experts, 30 exhibition booths and the attention and coverage of press and media agencies.

This year's Week marks an important expansion step when for the first time the transport sector is integrated into the same national program, demonstrating the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; at the same time, spreading a strong message on green energy conversion, sustainable development and greenhouse gas emission reduction, in line with the Government's major orientations on green growth, energy saving and environmental protection.

At the ceremony, Petrolimex Aviation, led by Mr. Nguyen Van Hoc - General Director, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Academy of Strategy, Training of Cadres of the Ministry of Construction and PA Company, with the following specific contents:

- Coordinate research, exchange information and share experiences on developing sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and green energy solutions in the aviation sector.

- Coordinate research to assess the impact of solutions and policies related to research, production, import, storage, blending, distribution and use of SAF in Vietnam.

- Coordinate research and development plans for SAF development, distribution and export of Petrolimex Aviation in line with the sustainable development orientation of the aviation industry.

- Strengthen cooperation in resource mobilization, connecting domestic and international partners to promote programs, projects and initiatives related to SAF development.

- Coordinate the organization of exchange activities, seminars, forums, etc. to support research, development and commercialization of SAF in Vietnam.

This is a meaningful activity to affirm Petrolimex Aviation's strong commitment to green energy conversion and realizing the goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions, towards Net Zero by 2050, in line with the spirit of Vietnam's commitment at the COP26 Conference.

Petrolimex Aviation’s participation in the Vietnam Green Building and Green Transport Week 2025 not only demonstrates the company’s pioneering role in the aviation energy transition, but also affirms Petrolimex Aviation’s sense of responsibility in contributing to the national sustainable development goals, reducing carbon emissions and promoting the green economy.
