This is the information shared by musician Dinh Trung Can - Director of VCPMC with the press on May 13, when discussing the Center's activities in the first months of 2025. Also according to musician Dinh Trung Can, in the first quarter of 2025, the Center distributed about 85 billion VND in music royalties to authors who are members of VCPMC, in which, the musician received the most music royalties, more than 1 billion VND.

Affirming that the Center has maintained its revenue according to the set targets, the Director of VCPMC also commented that the units using background music have been more aware of asking for permission from the right owners. However, some performance organizers still avoid and have not voluntarily agreed to pay royalties. Many units using works in the online field still try to avoid and do not cooperate. The Director of VCPMC also said that by May 2025, 6,720 authors had authorized the Center to collect music copyright fees, an increase of 400 people compared to the same period in 2024. The number of young authors authorizing the Center is increasing. This shows that more and more musicians trust the Center to entrust their works. VCPMC is also making many efforts to protect the best interests of its members.

Currently, the main source of revenue is online. The Center also determined that there is still a lot of room in cyberspace.
