Traffic diversion in central Ho Chi Minh City for firefighting practice at Saigon Centre

In order to ensure order and traffic safety for the fire fighting and rescue drill at Saigon Centre Building (65-67 Le Loi, Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police has announced traffic organization adjustments on some central routes.

Accordingly, the training, joint practice and rehearsal will take place on October 29 and 30, 2025, starting from 5:00 to 6:00 a.m. The official practice session will be held at 8:30 a.m. on October 31, 2025, and is expected to end and clean up at 9:45 a.m. on the same day.

The area used for practice includes Le Loi Street (from Nam Ky Khoi Nghia to Pasteur) and Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street (from Le Loi to the technology taxi pick-up and drop-off area of ​​the building).

During this time, traffic participants can travel in alternative directions:

Direction 1: From Ben Thanh market to Dong Khoi, you can temporarily move to the car lane of Le Loi street or parallel routes such as Ham Nghi, Nguyen Trung Truc, Ly Tu Trong...

Direction 2: From Le Thanh Ton to Ham Nghi, Vo Van Kiet, you can turn to Le Loi towards Ben Thanh market to go to Ham Nghi, Tran Hung Dao or follow Le Loi car lane towards Nguyen Hue, Ton Duc Thang.

The Traffic Police Department recommends that drivers reduce speed and comply with the instructions of the authorities and traffic signals when traveling through this area. The Traffic Police will proactively adjust and flexibly divide traffic to minimize the impact on people's daily life and travel.
