The remains of the martyr were discovered wrapped in a parachute cloth, with 18 teeth and many bone fragments along with many relics such as: a shoe sole, parachute cord, buttons, plastic spoon, medicine bottle, glass bottle... Notably, among the relics found were a wooden bottle engraved with the word "Phiet" or "Phiet" and a small aluminum bracelet with the words "SH-2-526".
After discovery, the unit coordinated with the Department of Internal Affairs of Huong Hoa district to determine information about the remains of the martyr mentioned above.

According to information provided by the Department of Internal Affairs, the location where the remains were discovered was previously the area where units of Division 304, Corps 2 participated in fighting at the Khe Sanh front.
Specifically, from May 19 to now, the Martyrs' Remains Collection Team of Economic - Defense Group 337 has collected 5 sets of martyrs' remains and is continuing to expand the search.
Currently, the remains of 5 martyrs are being burned incense and cared for at the Spiritual Cultural Area of Huong Hoa district and waiting for information confirmation from the authorities.
