Authorities discovered that Ms. Pham Thi Mung's garment factory was producing more than 1,000 counterfeit garment products bearing the brands "Dior", "CD", "Dolce & Gabbana", "GUCCI", "BURBERRY"; along with garment accessories such as: about 50,000 elastic bands, zippers, buttons; more than 4,000 separate stamps of various types; raw materials including 40 rolls of various types of fabric without invoices or documents.
At the time of inspection, Ms. Mung could not present the business registration certificate as required. The inspection team temporarily detained all the above goods, machinery and labels for further verification.
Implementing the direction of the Prime Minister in Official Dispatch No. 65/CD-TTg dated May 15, 2025 on launching a peak period to fight against and repel smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights, the Provincial Market Management Department continues to coordinate with functional forces to strengthen inspection and control of business establishments and distributors in all urban areas, rural areas, remote areas, promptly prevent and strictly handle acts of trading in counterfeit goods, ensuring the rights of consumers.
