Promoting the traditional culinary culture of the ancient capital Hoa Lu

On the evening of October 18, Ninh Binh Department of Tourism organized the Ninh Binh Tourism Culinary Festival 2024 with the theme "Culinary quintessence of the ancient capital," contributing to preserving and promoting the culinary cultural values ​​of the ancient capital of Hoa Lu.

On the evening of October 18, the Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Tourism organized the Ninh Binh Tourism Culinary Festival 2024 with the theme "Culinary quintessence of the Ancient Capital."

This is an important event contributing to preserving, honoring and promoting the value of traditional culinary culture, researching and restoring dishes in the style of the ancient Hoa Lu Royal Court.

The event attracted the participation of 8 districts and cities in the province with 100 booths of domestic and foreign enterprises participating in the competition and exhibition.

The main activities taking place during the Festival include: regional cuisine exhibition space; tourism culinary competition; discussion on developing Ninh Binh culinary tourism culture. In particular, at the Opening Ceremony, there was a culinary promotion activity by the Vietnam Chefs Association, the Vietnam Culinary Culture Association, and the Vietnam Royal Chefs Association cooking a giant pot of crab soup with 999 servings to thank visitors. The event is open free of charge to residents and visitors.

Mr. Pham Duy Phong, Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism of Ninh Binh province, said that the Ninh Binh Tourism Food Festival 2024 is an important event not only for the tourism industry but also for the cultural and economic development of the locality, contributing to preserving, honoring, promoting the value of traditional culinary culture, researching and restoring dishes in the style of the ancient Hoa Lu Royal Court.

Through the festival, introduce and promote the quintessence of traditional cuisine of the ancient capital, enhance the value and quality of dishes of the ancient capital Hoa Lu to serve tourists, creating new, unique and attractive tourism products.

The festival is one of the activities to promote the image of the tourist destination brand, culinary culture, people, potentials and advantages of tourism development in Ninh Binh province.

The event will take place until October 29./.
