Quick-witted, always exemplary in leading local campaigns and movements are the comments of many people when mentioning Mr. Tran Van Xanh (Binh Nam Hamlet, Binh Tam Commune, Tan An City, Long An Province). Since 2005, Mr. Xanh has been involved in local activities and has taken on many roles. He is currently the Party Cell Secretary, Head of Binh Nam Hamlet, and Commune Police Officer in charge of the hamlet.
As a prestigious person in the community, Mr. Xanh has played a good role in connecting the people in the hamlet, arousing love for the homeland, and mobilizing people to join hands to implement the Countryside Road Light model. Hundreds of electric light bulbs have been installed on 6 hamlet roads with a total length of more than 3km, which are works of the people's hearts. This meaningful work not only creates favorable conditions for people when traveling in the hamlet but also contributes to maintaining security, order, and creating beauty for the locality.
To contribute to maintaining security and order in the area, Mr. Xanh also mobilized 144 million VND to install 24 security and order surveillance cameras on the roads. Recently, thanks to the extraction of cameras, the police force has solved many cases.
Currently, at the age of 66, he is still tirelessly mobilizing people in the hamlet to carry out concrete projects on rural roads with the motto "The State and the People work together". The spacious, clean and beautiful roads put into use are a vivid reflection of "the Party's will and the people's heart". "There is nothing more precious than the trust and support of the people. As long as I am trusted and healthy, I will continue to contribute to the locality" - Mr. Xanh shared.
One of Mr. Xanh's outstanding achievements is to participate in mobilizing people to agree and comply with the policy of clearing the land to complete the Tan An City Ring Road - a key project of the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025. Tan An City Ring Road passes through Binh Nam Hamlet, Binh Tam Commune, about 17 hectares, clearing the land for 106 households. Together with the entire political system, Mr. Xanh participated in mobilizing people in the hamlet to agree with the policy of clearing the land to build the Tan An City Ring Road.
At the same time, Mr. Xanh has always paid attention to taking care of the lives of poor, near-poor, disadvantaged households, and families with meritorious services in the hamlet. Binh Nam hamlet has more than 400 households, currently only 1 poor household remains. Up to now, the hamlet has eliminated temporary and dilapidated houses.

With many contributions to local development, Mr. Tran Van Xanh has been awarded many certificates of merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and certificates of merit by the Chairman of the Tan An City People's Committee for his good achievements in implementing campaigns and movements launched by the locality./.
