New rural roads stretch to remote villages
Coming to Xi Kha La village (Ta Thanh commune, Muong Khuong district) today, it is easy to feel the daily development. In addition to more spacious houses, the village also has a solid, spacious, and clean traffic system. Mr. Thao Sung, a prestigious person in the village, shared that to achieve such results, in addition to the attention of the Party Committee and authorities at all levels, there is also the great effort of the people.
The method is to take the easy households to do it first to encourage the difficult households to do it later, take the completed road first, propagate and mobilize the people to continue to respond, and praise typical examples to spread. It has been like that for more than 10 years, although it is very difficult, each road has its own obstacles, but no road has not been completed due to land clearance. Up to now, 100% of the communes in the district have car roads to the commune center, 100% of the villages have convenient roads.
The specialized agency has coordinated with the People's Committees of communes to prepare investment procedures for rural traffic routes according to the National Target Programs for the period 2021 - 2025 in Muong Khuong district.
The progress of rural road construction has achieved good results. The 2022 transitional projects have 40 projects with a total length of 77.7 km; 76.5 km have been paved, 72.9 km have been graded, and 62.3 km have been concreted. The 2023 projects have 22 projects with a total length of 104 km, of which 36.2 km/104 km have been paved. Notably, in the first 10 months of the year, 1 commune of La Pan Tan has completed the traffic criteria, bringing the total number of communes meeting the traffic criteria to 15/15 communes.
Lung Khau Nhin mobilizes people to build new rural areas
To continue mobilizing people's strength in building new rural areas, on April 28, the Party Executive Committee of Muong Khuong District issued Resolution No. 21 on strengthening the leadership of Party committees at all levels in propagating and mobilizing people to donate land and assets on land to build socio -economic infrastructure works in the area.

Not only opening and building roads, but also the maintenance, upkeep and self-management of rural roads are also of interest to the government and the people. Many villages and hamlets have established self-management teams, regularly mobilizing people to clear drainage ditches, clear trees and grass, and plant flowers on both sides of the road... creating a green, clean and beautiful space.
