Talking about this, Bi Rain confessed that at first he was not sure if the film could receive sympathy from the audience because there were too many clichéd, Korean-style lines.

On the other hand, the film's main purpose is entertainment, although it combines many genres, from black films, psychological romances to stories about tycoons, power struggles, adultery, mistresses...

“I know there will be mixed reviews. This movie is full of cheesy, cliched lines, but it ended up being number 1 in many countries.

Honestly, the film lacks artistic value to some extent, but I think it was built to appeal to the public.

Personally, I find this movie has many different colors and it is much more interesting than I expected. I myself am satisfied with my character, after researching and thinking about it.”

Talking more about the movie's cliché lines like "I will protect you", "Do you want to sleep with me?", "Will you be my woman?"..., the male singer said this was a challenge.

“I wondered how such lines could be used in a drama in 2024. However, respecting the writer's vision, I conveyed those lines as accurately as possible.”

In addition, to best portray his role, Bi Rain spent a lot of time practicing with co-star Kim Ha Neul, and constantly checked to see if his lines were appropriate for the scene or if his acting was too much.

“Through many rehearsals and discussions, we were able to create a situation where even if something seems unpleasant, it is still acceptable. It's like when you crave a spicy food even though you know it might give you a stomach ache,” he explained.
