On the afternoon of November 24, at the Presidential Palace, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan met with the delegation of ethnic minorities in Cao Bang province. Expressing her emotions when meeting with 50 ethnic minority solidarity cores in Cao Bang province, the Vice President said that our country is focusing on overcoming floods in the Central Highlands provinces; at the same time, focusing on successfully implementing the 2025 targets and the targets of the 13th National Party Congress to prepare for the organization of the 14th National Party Congress.
Praising the important socio -economic development results achieved by the province in recent times, the Vice President stated that with the policies of the Party and State and the efforts of the local Party Committee, authorities and people of all ethnic groups in Cao Bang province, policies on ethnic minorities and mountainous ethnic groups have been implemented synchronously.
The poverty rate (according to the new criteria) has decreased by an average of over 4% per year, and people's lives have been increasingly improved. To achieve this result, the core, core, and prestigious force among ethnic minorities has always been an important extension of the Party and State to build the homeland.

To realize the set development goals, the Party and State hope that the entire Party, the entire people and all ethnic groups will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and patriotism; join hands, be unanimous and have high determination to successfully complete the tasks and goals set by the Party and State," Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan emphasized.
Summarizing the global, regional and domestic context with opportunities, advantages mixed with difficulties and challenges, the Vice President said that Vietnam's potential and position are increasingly enhanced, contributing to shortening the development gap between Vietnam and other countries in ASEAN as well as the world.
In recent times, the Party and the State have paid special attention to the issue of development gaps between regions, localities and ethnic groups in the country. Therefore, with the available potential and advantages, the Vice President hopes that Cao Bang province will continue to make efforts to overcome difficulties, narrow the gap, develop on par with the common level of the region and the whole country, and successfully carry out the requirements and tasks assigned by the Party and the State in the new context.
Agreeing with the orientation of becoming "the happiest and most livable place," the Vice President requested that Cao Bang Party Committee and authorities overcome difficulties, effectively exploit potentials and advantages, and develop commensurate with the tradition and position of the revolutionary land so that local people can more fully enjoy the country's development achievements.
Along with the construction of large projects, attracting investment..., Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan hopes that every Cao Bang resident will have a solid roof, safe from extreme weather phenomena, develop economic models from small to large, create jobs and stable, sustainable income for people.
In addition to settling down, Cao Bang continues to improve essential public institutions and services, and invest in synchronous infrastructure so that people in every village and hamlet can easily connect and access modern services in healthcare, education - training, culture, traffic infrastructure, telecommunications, etc.
The Vice President hopes that outstanding representatives from ethnic minorities will continue to be shining examples for the communities where they live and work, preserving the national cultural identity.
The province continues to innovate propaganda and mobilization methods, contributing to helping people better implement the Party and State's policies and guidelines; strive to escape poverty, improve their lives, and keep up with the development of the locality and the country.
Ethnic minorities in Cao Bang province actively participate in building local Party committees, authorities and political systems; actively protect forests and borders, stay close to villages and borders, preserve territorial sovereignty, and contribute to firmly protecting the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland.
Thanking the Vice President for taking the time to receive him, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Cao Bang Province, Quan Van Cuong, said that Cao Bang is a mountainous and border province with a total natural area of 6,724.6 km2 and a population of over 540,000 people. Of which, over 95% are ethnic minorities (the province with the highest proportion of ethnic minorities in the country), including ethnic groups such as Tay, Nung, Mong, Dao, San Chi, Lo Lo... living together. Throughout history, ethnic groups have always preserved and promoted the spirit of solidarity and unique cultural values.
Fully absorbing the direction of Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, Provincial Party Secretary Quan Van Cuong affirmed that the Party Committee and people of all ethnic groups in Cao Bang province are determined to fulfill the goals and tasks set by the 20th Party Congress, meeting the expectations and wishes of the Party and State leaders, making Cao Bang increasingly prosperous and developed./.
