
Attending the meeting were members of the Party Central Committee: Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Manh; Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee Vu Hai Ha; Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee Nguyen Huu Dong and representatives of the Standing Committee of the Ethnic Council , Committees of the National Assembly, leaders of departments, offices and units of the National Assembly Office.

The National Assembly Standing Committee's Patriotic Emulation Congress is scheduled to be held on November 29, at Dien Hong Room, National Assembly House. The Congress is held to summarize and evaluate the results of organizing and implementing the patriotic emulation movement and commendation work in the 2020-2025 period; and to set out directions and tasks for organizing and implementing the patriotic emulation movement and commendation work of the National Assembly Standing Committee in the 2025-2030 period.

The Congress commended the achievements and honored collectives, individuals, and typical, advanced examples in the 5 years (2020 - 2025), thereby arousing and promoting the strength, creativity and solidarity of the staff and civil servants in the agencies of the Nationalities Council, the Committees of the National Assembly, the Office of the National Assembly, creating motivation to successfully carry out political tasks in legislative work, supervision, and decision-making on important issues of the country according to the Resolution of the 1st National Assembly Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, contributing to the successful implementation of the country's socio-economic development tasks.

Discussing the organization of the Congress, at the meeting, delegates proposed a number of plans to ensure effective implementation and compliance with the policies of the Party and State, especially the Resolution of the 1st National Assembly Party Congress in summarizing patriotic emulation movements, praising and honoring typical and advanced collectives and individuals in the 2020-2025 period.

Delegates also proposed and clarified the criteria for rewarding typical advanced collectives and individuals to be honored and rewarded at the Congress; gave opinions on the Congress program, methods of organizing activities in the Congress, building a video clip to report on the summary of the patriotic emulation movement and reward work in the past period, directions and tasks in the coming period, the work of discovering, fostering and replicating advanced models to continue to innovate emulation and reward work to achieve high efficiency.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh emphasized that the 1st National Assembly Standing Committee Patriotic Emulation Congress (2025 - 2030) was held in the context of many important events of the country and the National Assembly being held in recent times, our country has achieved many positive results in socio-economic development, culture, science, technology, security and defense.

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly acknowledged that, in the recent past, the Organizing Committee of the Patriotic Emulation Congress of the National Assembly Standing Committee, although newly established, has carried out many tasks, basically completing the main tasks.

Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh also proposed a number of contents that need to be added to the Congress Organization Plan; requested the Delegation Affairs Committee to coordinate with relevant units to carefully review issued documents to provide guidance on conditions, standards, documents, and procedures for emulation and commendation; promptly supplement new documents so that the Ethnic Council, Committees, and specialized Departments can conduct voting for typical advanced individuals to attend and commend at the Congress.
