BAC NINH - In order to accurately and objectively assess the consumption situation of lychee in the 2025 crop year and orient the consumption of lychee for 2026, on the afternoon of August 1, comrade Pham Van Thinh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, conducted a survey and worked with leaders of Chu ward, Luc Ngan commune, Phuong Son ward and a number of lychee production and processing establishments.

Also present were representatives of the Department of Industry and Trade and the Provincial People's Committee Office. Some opinions raised difficulties and problems in the consumption of lychee this year. The issue of transparency of origin, process and product quality has not been implemented systematically, so it is necessary to continue to improve to increase market access.

It is necessary to calculate and build a floor price for lychee for closely linked models. Provide guidance on implementing the Land Law when building warehouses to dry and preserve agricultural products; evaluate the quality of cultivated land to promptly advise farmers on appropriate care measures.

It is recommended that the province pay attention to building industrial zones and clusters for agricultural processing in key fruit growing areas; invest in traffic routes parallel to National Highway 31 to reduce the load on National Highway 31, contributing to avoiding local traffic jams when consuming lychees.

Some delegates pointed out positive signs such as some facilities have applied technology to preserve lychee for a year while still maintaining the quality and appearance, and are expected to organize sales of this type of lychee next October.

Representatives of Luc Ngan commune leaders expressed their opinions at the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Pham Van Thinh highly appreciated the responsible and dedicated contributions of representatives of localities, enterprises and cooperatives. He emphasized that although there are still many difficulties, the goal is that next year's lychee season must be better than the previous one.

He said that in recent times, lychee growers have done a very good job in the care process, contributing to maintaining the province's agricultural product brand. To support farmers, in the coming time, the province will organize an agricultural product exhibition and processing initiatives right in Chu ward. At the same time, it will support the formation of a club of processing factories and a lychee growers' association to ensure more systematic and effective consumption. The province's support policies will be implemented through cooperatives and cooperatives producing and consuming lychees.

Comrade Pham Van Thinh visited the agricultural processing factory at Toan Cau Food Import Export Joint Stock Company.

Localities should encourage and actively mobilize communal officials and civil servants to participate in supporting cooperative and cooperative group models.

Regarding the proposal to build roads in Chu ward, he requested the ward to make a plan to support investment in connecting roads to agricultural product consumption cooperatives, which, in addition to creating favorable conditions for people to produce and do business, also helps develop local tourism .

Request to review the zoning plan under the general planning of Chu town (old) to adjust land use purposes, creating conditions for building warehouses for cooperatives that need to expand their operations.

The Department of Industry and Trade is assigned to be the focal point for advising on the establishment of a KOL Club to promote lychee consumption on e-commerce platforms. The province is studying a plan to build an industrial cluster in Luc Ngan commune to serve product processing and consumption.
