Comrade Phan The Tuan thanked Ambassador Ito Naoki for taking the time to work with the delegation of Bac Ninh province, and at the same time shared some information about the socio -economic situation of the province. With 126 Japanese enterprises operating in the province, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the role of Japanese investors in the development of Bac Ninh province in recent times. He asked Ambassador Ito Naoki to continue to pay attention to supporting the connection of Japanese enterprises investing in Bac Ninh province in the fields of precision mechanics, pharmaceutical industry, supporting industry, and industries leading the Industrial Revolution 4.0...
Regarding the field of human resource training, he suggested that the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam connect with Japanese technical universities to open exchange programs and cooperate in training human resources for the electronics, automation, information technology and semiconductor industries. In addition, support the province in implementing R&D projects and creative startups through the province's Science and Technology Development Funds; implement cooperation projects on environmental technology, renewable energy, research, production, and processing of agricultural and forestry products, etc.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam will support Bac Ninh in connecting with a Japanese locality to sign a memorandum of understanding to establish a cooperative relationship.
Thanking the provincial leaders for taking the time to receive and work with him, Ambassador Ito Naoki shared about the damage caused by natural disasters to the people of Bac Ninh province in recent times, and also informed about the investment cooperation situation between Bac Ninh in particular, Vietnam in general with Japanese partners.
The Ambassador informed the provincial leaders about the cooperation project between Waseda University and the University of Natural Sciences (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) in training human resources and techniques related to the environment and clean water treatment. The project is expected to be piloted in Bac Ninh in the near future; after success, it will be expanded to other localities in Vietnam.

The Ambassador also assessed that Bac Ninh has done a good job in attracting foreign investment, however, the signing of a local memorandum of understanding with Japan has not been implemented yet, so the province needs to promote and implement it soon to take advantage of the available potential of both sides. In addition, Bac Ninh should focus on promoting technical human resource training, while promoting cultural exchanges between localities.
Comrade Phan The Tuan highly appreciated the information shared by the Ambassador, believing that these are positive suggestions to help Bac Ninh province have more orientation in the coming time. He affirmed that Bac Ninh province will create the best conditions for Japanese enterprises when they come to invest; at the same time, he hopes to welcome the Ambassador to visit Bac Ninh province in the near future.
