At the working session, Rear Admiral Vu Van Nam, Commander of Naval Region 1, reported on the implementation of military and defense tasks, training, combat readiness and Party building work in the entire Region in recent times.

Accordingly, the Party Committee and Command of Naval Region 1 have focused on leading and directing units to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement directives, orders and plans from above; strictly maintain discipline and combat readiness regime, closely manage assigned sea areas; coordinate well with forces in the region, promptly handle situations at sea, and firmly maintain the sovereignty and security of the Fatherland's seas and islands.  

Vice Admiral Nguyen An Phong encouraged officers and soldiers of Naval Region 1.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Admiral Nguyen An Phong emphasized: Naval Region 1 has a particularly important strategic position, so it is necessary to always maintain vigilance, proactively grasp the situation, and not be passive or surprised in any situation.

Vice Admiral Nguyen An Phong requested that in the coming time, the Party Committee and Command of Naval Region 1 continue to strengthen political and ideological education, build mettle and determination for soldiers; take good care of the material and spiritual life of officers and soldiers; do a good job of building a clean and strong Party Committee of the Region; focus on improving the quality of training and combat readiness of the forces, ensuring that Region 1 always completes all assigned tasks well.
