At the conference, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and the Navy Party Committee discussed and agreed to sign the Program of coordination of activities for the period 2023-2025 with 3 key contents: Carrying out the task of ensuring national defense, security, social order and safety, protecting sovereignty over seas and islands (continuing to implement the Program of coordination of propaganda on seas and islands between the Navy Party Committee and Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, the Program "Vietnam Navy as a fulcrum for fishermen to go offshore and stick to the sea", the activity "Navy sponsors fishermen's children"...); carrying out the task of building the political system, developing the socio-economy associated with strengthening national defense and security (completing the Project to build Truong Sa Museum, deploying the Fund to support the development of Khanh Hoa fisheries...); implementing the military rear policy (strengthening exchange and twinning activities, organizing delegations to visit and encourage officers and soldiers on duty on islands in the Truong Sa archipelago, DK1 platform...). The two sides agreed to develop a specific implementation plan for coordination contents, regularly exchange information; annually evaluate the situation and implementation results, in order to effectively and substantially implement the coordination program.

In recent times, the coordination between the Navy and Khanh Hoa province has been increasingly closely and effectively implemented in many fields, contributing to the socio-economic development of Khanh Hoa province, firmly protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland. The signing of the Coordination Program aims to better meet the increasing requirements in the new situation, implementing Resolution No. 09/2022 of the Politburo on building and developing Khanh Hoa province to 2030, with a vision to 2045; aiming to build Truong Sa into an economic, cultural and social center at sea of ​​the whole country in accordance with the direction of the Politburo; helping Khanh Hoa province and the Navy coordinate more closely to continue to effectively carry out the work of socio-economic development associated with strengthening national defense, security, and protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
