The telegram stated:

At about 03:20 on April 28, 2025, a house fire broke out at No. 87, Alley 99/110/85, Dinh Cong Ha Street, Dinh Cong Ward, Hoang Mai District, Hanoi City, causing serious consequences, killing 03 people and injuring 01 person. On behalf of the Government, the Prime Minister, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh sent his condolences to the relatives and families of the victims and gave the following instructions:

The Hanoi People's Committee directs the organization of thoughtful visits, timely encouragement, material and spiritual support, creating the best conditions for treatment and soon stabilizing the accommodation and life of the victim's family; closely coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security to urgently investigate the cause of the fire, clarify the responsibilities of relevant organizations and individuals, strictly handle violations (if any) according to the provisions of law. Continue to resolutely and effectively implement the directions of the Government and the Prime Minister on fire prevention, fighting, rescue, especially propaganda work, combined with inspection, guiding people to have solutions to enhance fire and explosion safety during the upcoming hot weather, ensuring that people have a safe and healthy holiday and participate in events celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30) and International Labor Day (May 1)./.
