After a month of organization from November 1, Photo Hanoi '25 Photography Festival officially closed on November 30. At the closing ceremony, Director of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports , Ms. Bach Lien Huong assessed that the results far exceeded initial expectations.
According to the Department's statistics, this year's event attracted more than 200,000 interested and participating people, both online and in person, most of whom were young people in the capital. More than 100 press agencies with more than 500 news, articles and reports in many languages were published.
Thanks to that, Hanoi strengthens its mark as a creative city, constantly moving, preserving its identity, and nurturing the vitality of humane art.
“Within the framework of bilateral cultural cooperation between France and Hanoi, Photo Hanoi is a precious and meaningful gift that the French Embassy in Vietnam gives to the capital,” said Ms. Bach Lien Huong.

Accordingly, Photo Hanoi '25 aims to contribute to realizing the spirit of the cooperation agreement between the Embassy of the French Republic in Vietnam and the Hanoi People's Committee. The French side will transfer technology and provide technical support to help Hanoi become a center of photography with stature and a strong brand, gathering and attracting the attention of many famous international artists.
Mr. Eric Soulier - Counselor for Cooperation and Cultural Activities, French Embassy in Vietnam said that France is proud to accompany Vietnamese and international partners on this journey.
“We know that cultural projects like this can become examples of success that have a global impact. We have seen it before. I believe that Photo Hanoi will continue that mission.
Looking ahead, our message is clear: It is the talent and vision of Hanoi’s artists, curators and creatives that will shape the future of the biennale. They are the heart of the event,” said Eric Soulier.

Representatives of co-organizers and artists were present and expressed their love and gratitude for the event.
Photographer Andy Soloman affirmed that Vietnam is rich in artistic heritage and Photo Hanoi 25 has honored that culture: “This Biennale has shown the spirit of solidarity in cultural and artistic diversity - the values that Vietnam shares with the whole world ,” he commented.
