In the first 9 months of 2025, Bai Chay Ward Police organized nearly 30 direct propaganda sessions on social evils, including drug-related evils, attracting over 1,800 participants; distributed more than 1,500 leaflets; posted dozens of news, articles, and videos on the unit's official Zalo and Facebook channels and the provincial police website. In addition, professional groups also coordinated with departments, branches, and organizations to promote propaganda through regular activities in neighborhoods to mobilize people to join hands in preventing and combating drug-related crimes and maintaining security and order at the grassroots level. At the same time, the ward has built and replicated many advanced models and examples; Timely commend and reward collectives and individuals who actively participate in the work of preventing and combating social evils in the area.

Along with that, Bai Chay ward strictly manages sensitive service businesses that are prone to drug activities such as: bars, karaoke, homestays, hotels, massage parlors, pubs, clubs... Currently, in the ward, there are 13 karaoke businesses, 2 beach bars and 4 bars and clubs registered as alcohol and tobacco businesses. The police force regularly organizes inspections of business conditions, focusing on compliance with regulations on security and order, prevention and control of social evils, especially drugs. At the same time, the ward police step up propaganda and mobilize owners to sign a commitment not to let social evils happen, especially not to let drug use and public disorder arise.

In addition, the police force of Bai Chay ward has deployed many plans and measures, from social prevention to professional prevention. Grasping the situation, managing suspicious subjects, people from other places staying for a long time, especially unemployed and homeless youth; coordinating with accommodation establishments to request full electronic declaration of residence; conducting surprise inspections to detect groups of subjects organizing drug use. In particular, the police force of the ward promotes the role of tourism and service businesses such as: Signing a commitment "Safe tourism business establishments without drugs"; training skills to identify drug users for receptionists, security guards, and managers; encouraging the installation of security cameras, sharing data with the police of the ward for general monitoring. In addition, the police of the ward also establishes records to manage addicts undergoing drug treatment and post-drug treatment; closely coordinates with families to encourage and provide career guidance; and limits the number of these people from relapsing; timely detect drug users in the area and put them under management.

During the first 9 months of 2025, the Ward Police conducted drug testing on 516 cases, of which 37 were positive; discovered and arrested 11 drug cases and prosecuted 12 suspects for crimes such as: organizing drug use, illegal drug trafficking and illegal drug possession.

The Ward Police will also strengthen the work of grasping the situation, managing the area, managing subjects, closely coordinating with relevant agencies in monitoring, educating , helping addicts to quit drugs and reintegrate into the community, participate in labor, production, and create stable income; promote the effectiveness of the movement "All people protect national security" in preventing and combating drug crimes; replicate advanced models in preventing and combating drug crimes; At the same time, resolutely deploy professional measures to attack and suppress drug crimes, not allowing the formation of complex hotspots and networks.
