Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Vu, Secretary of the Party Committee of Dai Son Ward, said: Determined to complete the development goals, the Party Committee of the ward has closely followed the leadership and direction of the city, the actual situation to build and issue specialized resolutions and action programs in each field; focused and key implementation of solutions to exploit potentials and advantages; mobilized, exploited and effectively used development investment resources... Thanks to that, in the past term, the Party Committee of the ward has achieved and exceeded 15/19 targets set out in the resolution; the appearance of the ward is increasingly spacious, people's lives are gradually improved.
Identifying economic development as a key task, the Party Committee has focused on leading the implementation of solutions to exploit potentials and advantages to rapidly increase the proportion of the trade and service sector. With the attention of the province and the city, in recent times, many urban infrastructure and traffic infrastructure projects have been built and upgraded, helping the locality expand urban space, attract many investment enterprises, create favorable conditions for people to change their occupations, from agriculture to trading, helping the production value of the trade and service sector increase steadily over the years. Currently, there are 23 roads in the ward; including many busy trade and service streets such as: Tran Phu, Thong Nhat, Nguyen Van Cu... In the period of 2020-2025, the trade and service sector increased by 9.8% on average annually, accounting for 51.2% of the general economic structure. Along with promoting trade and services, the locality also pays attention to, creates all conditions, and encourages small-scale industrial establishments to invest in expanding production and business, diversifying and improving product quality to meet market demand, increasing revenue and profit. The total production value of the industrial and construction sectors increased by an average of 9.6% per year, accounting for 46.9% of the total value of economic sectors.
In the cultural and social fields, social security policies are implemented promptly and fully. The qualityof education is increasingly improved; school facilities are enhanced to meet the needs of teaching and learning. Every year, the rate of students completing the curriculum is over 99.4%; the rate of maintaining primary school enrollment is 100%; Dai Son Primary School is recognized as a national standard school at level 1. The work of protecting, caring for, and improving people's health in the new situation is increasingly improved. The rate of poor households has now decreased to 0.42%; near-poor households to 0.84%... Security and order in the area are ensured...
Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Vu added: The results achieved in the past term are the basis and pride for the entire Party Committee and people of Dai Son ward to continue to strive, make efforts, join forces, and concentrate on effectively implementing socio-economic development solutions; focusing on improving the quality of trade and services in a fast and sustainable direction to serve the urban area, better meeting the needs of society; encouraging environmentally friendly industrial and handicraft production with high competitiveness. At the same time, well implementing civilized urban lifestyle, building Dai Son into a trade and service center, with a spacious, bright, green, clean and beautiful appearance.
