Dong Da Ward brings the Capital Law into life

On November 7, Dong Da ward organized a conference to respond to Vietnam Law Day (November 9); summarizing the online contest "Learning about the Capital Law" in 2025.

Vice Chairman of Dong Da Ward People's Committee Nguyen Trong Hai said that Dong Da Ward has proactively implemented many practical activities, such as: Propagating laws on the organization of two-level local government; organizing conferences integrating legal content on land, construction order, environment, security and digital transformation.

The ward has deployed various forms of propaganda on the electronic information portal, Zalo social network; promoted the role of mediation teams, legal propaganda teams... Thereby, many problems and disputes have been handled promptly, contributing to strengthening the village spirit, maintaining social order and safety.

Responding to Vietnam Law Day, comrade Nguyen Trong Hai called on each cadre, party member, and civil servant to be exemplary in "understanding the law - doing the right thing - guiding people to properly implement the law"; each citizen needs to raise awareness, proactively study and learn the law to protect their own legitimate rights and interests, and join hands in building a community of "Discipline - Civilization - Compassion - Modernity".

He requested departments, branches, organizations, and residential groups to continue promoting results and stepping up propaganda so that 100% of people clearly understand their rights and obligations in building urban order, protecting the environment, and preserving the civilized and elegant lifestyle of Hanoians according to the Capital Law 2024.

In the context after the merger, Dong Da ward became one of the administrative units with the largest population in the city. Propaganda, dissemination and legal education were identified as key tasks, contributing to consolidating the legal foundation and creating high consensus and unity among officials and people.

To respond to Vietnam Law Day in the most practical way, the ward organized the online contest "Learning about the Capital Law", attracting a large number of cadres, civil servants and people to enthusiastically respond.

Taking place from October 20 to 31, 2025, the contest had 855 valid entries. The Organizing Committee assessed that the quantity and quality of the entries were carefully researched, dedicated and highly responsible for the Capital.

At the Conference, Dong Da ward awarded 3 collectives and 11 individuals with outstanding achievements in the competition.

The success of the contest is an important premise to continue implementing and bringing the Law into life, contributing to building the Capital and Dong Da ward to be more civilized and modern.
