The house of gratitude worth 81.5 million VND was completed with contributions from many groups and individuals. Of which, the Vietnam Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs supported 60 million VND, the remaining amount was contributed by the People's Committee of Yen Bai Ward, the Association of Enterprises in Yen Bai area and charitable organizations.

Ms. Cao Thi Sang (born in 1947) currently receives a monthly pension. Her husband is martyr Nguyen Van Ty, who died in 1972. She also worships martyr Cao Ngoc Ang (younger brother) who died in 1974 during the resistance war against the US to save the country.
After many years of use, her old house was seriously degraded and unsafe. Thanks to the attention of local authorities, organizations and individuals, Ms. Sang now has a solid house.

The project demonstrates the spirit of "When drinking water, remember its source", the responsibility and affection of all levels, sectors, people, businesses and philanthropists towards caring for and showing gratitude to those with meritorious services.
