The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses by 2025

On the morning of April 13, in Da Bac district, Hoa Binh province, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Chairman of the Central Emulation and Reward Council, launched a national emulation movement to join hands to "eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in 2025. The goal is to strive to complete the task of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025. (See details).

On behalf of the Presidium of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Emulation and Reward Council Do Van Chien called on agencies, enterprises, organizations, collectives, individuals in the country and overseas Vietnamese to respond to the movement with the goal of basically eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households, near-poor households, and people affected by natural disasters and climate change nationwide by the end of 2025. At the launching ceremony, businesses and organizations registered to support and provide funding to respond to the emulation movement of the whole country joining hands to "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in 2025 launched by the Prime Minister with a total amount of funding received of 337 billion VND. In Da Bac district (Hoa Binh), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the groundbreaking ceremony for building new houses for some disadvantaged households in the district, and inspected the implementation of the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in practice. (See details).

Immediately after the launching ceremony of the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in 2025, the delegation including: Acting President Vo Thi Anh Xuan; Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Hoang Cong Thuy; Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province Bui Van Khanh visited, presented gifts and participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of new houses for some poor households in Da Bac district, Hoa Binh province. The delegation included: Chairman Do Van Chien, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee; Mr. Hau A Lenh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister, Chairman of the Ethnic Committee; Mr. Bui Duc Hinh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee, attended the groundbreaking ceremony to build houses for a number of poor households in difficult circumstances in Da Bac district. Joy, excitement and emotion were the feelings of poor households in Da Bac district on the day they received funding to build Great Unity houses. “I don’t know what to say other than thank the Party, the State, the Fatherland Front and the benefactors for helping me have a house so I can live peacefully for the rest of my life” - a person who received support to build a Great Unity house emotionally shared. Hai Duong: Striving to have 58 communes meeting NTM standards by 2024

The People's Committee of Hai Duong province has just issued a plan to implement the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in 2024. According to the plan, Hai Duong strives to have 35 communes meeting advanced new rural standards, 23 communes meeting model new rural standards and at least 3 districts meeting all conditions to be recognized as meeting advanced new rural district standards in 2025.
