On behalf of the Presidium of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Emulation and Reward Council Do Van Chien called on agencies, enterprises, organizations, collectives, individuals in the country and overseas Vietnamese to respond to the movement with the goal of basically eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households, near-poor households, and people affected by natural disasters and climate change nationwide by the end of 2025. Joy, excitement and emotion were the feelings of poor households in Da Bac district on the day they received funding to build Great Unity houses. “I don’t know what to say other than thank the Party, the State, the Fatherland Front and the benefactors for helping me have a house so I can live peacefully for the rest of my life” - a person who received support to build a Great Unity house emotionally shared. Hai Duong: Striving to have 58 communes meeting NTM standards by 2024

The People's Committee of Hai Duong province has just issued a plan to implement the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in 2024. According to the plan, Hai Duong strives to have 35 communes meeting advanced new rural standards, 23 communes meeting model new rural standards and at least 3 districts meeting all conditions to be recognized as meeting advanced new rural district standards in 2025.
