PSG and Inter Milan compete for the Champions League title this season

French champions PSG beat the Gunners 1-0 at the Emirates in the first leg and continued to "sow sorrow" for their opponents with a 2-1 victory at home at the Parc des Princes.

A ticket to the final at Allianz Arena is a worthy reward for coach Luis Enrique and his team after what they have shown.

Meanwhile, Arsenal were eliminated from the knockout stages of the European Cup once again after losing the first leg at home. This is the 6th time in their history that they have fallen in this scenario.

In the 69th minute, PSG was awarded a penalty but Vitinha could not beat goalkeeper David Raya from 11m. However, just 3 minutes later, Achraf Hakimi took advantage of Thomas Partey's mistake to score, making it 2-0.

Arsenal immediately responded with a goal by Bukayo Saka to reduce the score to 1-2 in the 76th minute after a favorable assist from Leandro Trossard.

Three minutes later, Saka had another chance but he missed incredibly when he shot over the bar in a situation facing an empty goal from 6m away, leaving the home team regretful.

This result helps PSG continue their journey to conquer the first European Cup in history, and at the same time become the third Ligue 1 club to participate in multiple finals of Europe's most prestigious cup tournament, after Stade de Reims and Marseille (both twice).

Five years ago, PSG also reached the final of the Champions League but regrettably lost to Bayern Munich.

PSG's opponent in this season's Champions League final is Inter Milan, the team that eliminated Barcelona after two dramatic matches with a total score of 7-6.

According to the schedule, the final match between PSG and Inter Milan will take place in the early morning of June 1 at Allianz Arena (Munich, Germany).
