PV GAS has a name on the global LNG map
In October 2019, the country's landmark project - Thi Vai LNG Storage - officially started construction. After nearly four years, July 10, 2023 marked the milestone of LNG being brought to Vietnam for the first time on a ship named Maran Gas Achilles, re-gasified to supply gas to power plants, officially putting PV GAS on the global LNG map.
The heart of the Thi Vai LNG Warehouse is a full containment LNG tank with an inner layer made of special steel material, which can withstand temperatures as low as 90°C, and an outer layer covered with concrete to ensure the highest safety for the gas tank. This is not only a technical achievement, but also a symbol of PV GAS PMC's international-class project management, engineering and safety level.
As part of this LNG infrastructure chain, the Thi Vai-Phu My LNG pipeline (2021), the LNG tanker filling station (2023), and the gas supply line for Nhon Trach 3 and Nhon Trach 4 Power Plants (2024) are also invested synchronously, ensuring the transportation of re-gasified LNG from the Thi Vai LNG warehouse to power plants and the supply of LNG by tanker trucks to potential customers.
Each link is important, forming the first synchronous and convenient LNG import, re-gasification and distribution system in Vietnam. This is also an affirmation that PV GAS PMC is not only continuing the tradition, but is also opening the door for the Vietnamese gas industry to enter the global LNG era.

Returning to the place considered the "cradle" of the Vietnamese oil and gas industry, PV GAS PMC made its mark with the construction and completion of the Ham Rong - Thai Binh (HRTB) gas system. The HRTB system includes 25 km of offshore and onshore gas pipelines, 1 shore station, 1 gas distribution center and a low-pressure gas pipeline network in the industrial park, officially put into commercial operation on August 7, 2015.
LNG development stretches from South to North
From here, the HRTB gas system has realized PV GAS's strategy of developing the gas market in the North, spreading the "green flame" more widely to neighboring areas to serve industry and people. At the same time, the upgrading of Dinh Vu- Hai Phong LPG warehouse was also implemented to diversify the supply of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to expand the market, enhance position, competitiveness, maintain and develop market share in the North, contributing to ensuring energy security and regulating the LPG market in the North.
In the Southwest, PV GAS PMC, representing PV GAS, joined hands to complete the Ca Mau Gas-Electricity-Fertilizer chain with the construction of the Ca Mau Gas Processing Plant (started on February 7, 2015, inaugurated on May 2, 2018). Under "strict" construction conditions, weak ground, next to the U Minh Ha National Reserve, each completed item is a testament to the technical and project management capabilities. The 50 m high, 130 ton De-Ethanizer T-1501 tower - the heart of the plant - was successfully installed, demonstrating the remarkable growth of the Vietnamese gas industry through the enthusiastic heart, persistent mind and solid skills of the PV GAS PMC team.

To complete the energy supply puzzle in all three regions, in the Central region, PV GAS PMC has also started consulting and managing the Son My LNG Terminal project (formerly Binh Thuan province), opening up a new and potential customer market. It is expected that when completed, this will be a key LNG center, contributing to ensuring energy security and contributing to the economy of the South Central Coast region.
Looking to the future, PV GAS PMC continues to implement a series of new projects: increasing the capacity of Thi Vai LNG Warehouse to 3 MMTPA, Hiep Phuoc-Long An pipeline, East-West connection pipeline, or LPG/LNG warehouse system in the North and North Central regions. All of these are not simply investment plans, but national strategies, putting energy security and sustainable development first.
Looking back on the 35-year journey, from the first pipelines at Bach Ho to the most modern LNG warehouses in the region, PV GAS PMC has accompanied PV GAS, writing a heroic epic of lighting the fire. That blue flame not only shines in each project, but also spreads the pride, intelligence and aspiration of many generations of PV GAS leaders and workers - those who carry on their shoulders the mission of "lighting the fire of the country".
