In recent years, thanks to good propaganda and mobilization work, nearly 80% of more than 200 people on Phuc Chinh 1 Street have received their pensions and benefits through their accounts. Currently, there are only about 30 people, mainly the elderly who are not proficient in applying IT and do not have smartphones, so they still receive them in cash. Comrade Dinh Nho Khanh, Deputy Director of the Provincial Social Insurance, said: In order to effectively implement the settlement and payment of social insurance and unemployment insurance regimes to ensure full, timely and correct payment of social insurance benefits for beneficiaries and promptly organize the payment of pensions and social insurance benefits for May 2025, from April 25 to April 28, according to the direction of the Prime Minister, the Provincial Social Insurance requires the Social Insurance of districts and cities to coordinate with the District Post Office to announce the schedule for payment of pensions and social insurance benefits for May 2025.

The form of notification is carried out on mass media, through the radio system of communes, wards and towns so that beneficiaries know the form of payment through the beneficiary's account of the Social Insurance agency and the cash payment schedule of the Post Office in a timely and complete manner for beneficiaries according to the plan and payment process of Social Insurance and Unemployment Insurance regimes.

According to statistics from the provincial Social Insurance sector, the total cost of pension and social insurance benefits in May 2025 was VND 324.7 billion for 59,640 pension and social insurance beneficiaries. Of which, 35,415 people were paid via ATM with an amount of VND 202 billion, accounting for about 60%; 24,225 people were paid in cash with an amount of VND 123 billion.

Implementing the plan to organize early payment, the provincial Social Insurance has allocated funds to pay pensions and social insurance benefits for May 2025 and transferred the payment list data to the Post Office before April 24 so that from April 25 to April 28, payments will be made to 100% of pensioners and beneficiaries in the whole province.

In addition, the provincial Social Insurance also coordinated with the provincial Post Office to direct the Social Insurance of districts and cities to grasp the situation of pension, social insurance and unemployment insurance payments in May 2025 at the units. Timely report and advise on handling issues arising during the payment process. At the same time, assign officers to inspect and supervise the management of beneficiaries and payment work in districts and cities in 2025 in accordance with the Contract of authorization for payment of social insurance regimes, unemployment benefits and management of beneficiaries between the provincial Social Insurance and the provincial Post Office...

In addition to paying pensions and social insurance benefits in cash in full, strictly and safely, the provincial social insurance sector continues to coordinate with press and media agencies, post offices, banks, job placement centers, etc. to promote and encourage beneficiaries to receive social insurance and unemployment benefits through personal accounts so that beneficiaries can receive benefits quickly and conveniently.
