Quang Nam will divide 3 lots to auction more than 760 thousand cubic meters of sand dredged from Co Co River.

(QNO) - The People's Committee of Quang Nam province has just issued a decision approving the detailed auction plan for sand materials for the foundation after dredging the project of dredging, emergency flood drainage and preventing saltwater intrusion of Co Co river (Hoi An city).

Accordingly, the authorities will divide 760,825m³ of sand into 3 lots at 3 locations for auction. Of which, lot 1 at B1 lot with 172,450m³; lot 2 at B2 lot with 171,550m³; lot 3 at B4 lot with 416,825m³.

According to the decision of the Provincial People's Committee, the auction volume is the volume at the yard, sold as a package, if there is any remaining, each lot will be auctioned separately.

The auction winner is responsible for returning the site to its original condition as per the design documents after completing the transportation of materials out of the storage yard. The auction winner shall return the site within 60 days from the date of handover of the auctioned property.

The entire auction winning amount is deposited into the temporary account of the Department of Finance opened at the State Treasury of Quang Nam province; the unit assigned to sell the assets shall prepare payment procedures for expenses related to the auction and send them to the Department of Finance for settlement in accordance with regulations.

It is known that the amount of sand after dredging Co Co River has been gathered at the sites for about 4 years. This amount of sand has been auctioned twice before but there has been no buyer, so this time the authorities will divide it into 3 lots for auction.
