According to Pham Tan Phuoc, Secretary of the Nghia Phu Commune Party Committee, the reorganization of commune-level administrative units aims to meet standards regarding natural area, population size, streamline the apparatus, reduce staffing, and effectively utilize land, human, and spatial resources to develop the local economy and society. To organize the consultation process with voters, the Commune People's Committee had previously intensified propaganda and mobilization efforts among officials, Party members, and the people using various methods suitable to the specific characteristics of each residential area. This aimed to create consensus among the people regarding the merger of administrative units, thereby ensuring that officials and the people understand and implement the policies of the Party and the State.
After completing the voter consultation process, the commune-level People's Councils in the Project will convene to pass the Resolution on May 9th; the district-level People's Councils will pass the Resolution on May 14th. The documents and resolutions will be sent to the Provincial People's Committee before May 17th.
