According to the General Statistics Office, the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of Quang Ngai province in 2025 is estimated to reach nearly 92,350 billion VND, an increase of more than 10% compared to last year and the highest growth rate in the past 5 years. Industry continues to play a leading role in the province's economy with significant contributions from the two key sectors of oil and steel (oil increased by 19.41% and steel increased by 26.74%).

The size of Quang Ngai province's economy in 2025, at current prices, is estimated to reach over 191,610 billion VND; of which: the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sector is estimated at nearly 32,960 billion VND, accounting for 17.2%; the industry and construction sector is estimated at nearly 78,820 billion VND, accounting for 41.13%; and the service sector is estimated at over 55,750 billion VND, accounting for over 29%.

With a growth rate of over 10%, Quang Ngai ranked 6th nationwide, the highest among the 6 provinces and cities in the Central and Central Highlands region.
